Mozilla Frustrations

I like Mozilla a lot, but the last couple weeks I have had a lot of problems with it. Admittedly, I have been using the 1.2 alpha and the 1.2 beta, but I was hoping to help out with the testing. Instead, I ended up with an address book and offline POP email files that could not be imported after I tried to start over with a clean install of 1.2b. I had to recreate all my mail and newsgroup accounts and recreate my address book one entry at a time.

I'm afraid my install of Mozilla on XP is fairly hosed now, since I am still unable to download files within Mozilla. Well, maybe this is a sign to really move off XP and onto Linux.

My goal is to be almost completely moved over to Linux and Mac OS X at home by the end of 2003. I think I will actually get there much earlier. I've already found substitutes for most of the Windows applications I regularly use.
