Robert,

I just got a pair of Genius 4's and also ride with SPDs. Did you have any problems with the cleats not mounting far enoug back? My old Carnac Ellipse shoes allowed me to move the cleat above 1/4" further back than the Genius's. It's causing me some foot discomfort with the Sidi's. If I can't find another solution I'm planning on making the mounting slots on the SPD adapter plate longer with my Dremel. Any other ideas? Thanks for any fedback

I just compared the location of the mounting slots on the Genius 4's to those on a pair of Shimano mountain bike shoes I have that are roughly the same size. It looks like the slots on the Shimanos allow the cleats to be placed at least a 1/4" farther back than the Sidis. Fortunately for me, my foot is shaped such that I don't even have to put the cleats all the way back on the Sidis in order to be comfortable. I think your plan to lengthen the slots a bit with a Dremel is your best bet.
