If any of you voiceXML developers have a chance to chat about BeVocal, Tellme and other voice application companies, I’d love your viewpoint. I’m a venture capitalist taking a hard look at the space. Porting to Voxeo is definitely something I’d like to do. Last time I checked, though, Voxeo’s browser didn’t support the data and foreach tags that have now been formally included in the draft for VXML 2.1. Those tags saved me a bunch of time, so I don’t really feel like rewriting my app to not use them. Also, I’ve been told by someone at Voxeo that the next version of their browser will support those tags.

BeVocal’s TOS also prohibits distributing your PIN, but Voxeo doesn’t, that’s why i’m using them.
